Held on Belis Lake, the north western part of Romania in Apuseni mountains in September, 20 2009, the open meets 15 flyfishermen from all over Romania with individual boats. The contest was organized by Aqua Transilvae Club and matters in the national top 12 fly fishermen for 2009.

3 rows of 3 hours, in 3 different parts of the lake. Bass, chub and trout we where looking for.

S1waterbike was the only boat with pedals, one fiberglass boat and all other boats where inflatable single person boats.

The strategy I used was simple, cast and go - use all advantages that S1waterbike can give. So I could cover a large part of the shore in one row, finding easily the places where fish where feeding. Moving swiftly with no noise and waves this strategy works. On the first row I catched 9 chubs, on the seccond 22, and on the third 24. so I win the first prize with 31620 points, The second pprize was taken with 12860 points.

S1waterbike prove once more the benefits it can bring in competions.
