Since a long time I wanted to go on Ghioroc Lake for a autumn flyfishing session, and I never find time. After few nice weather days, warm and sunny, with slow winds, I decided that now is the time for it, and I used an occasion having a  business meeting in Arad to make my time for a nice afternoon fishing.

A quiet place, open space, and clear water is the Ghioroc lake, where you can fly fish for chub, zander, pike, and other type of fishes that I don't know to translate their name. But chub is the main fish on flyfishing. So I take my  s1waterbike, my Loop gear and I start a dreaming afternoon. From the beginning I start to check my favorite places, but no notable catch showed up. So I start to go in a open space near a island in a windy place, but with the wind on my back, and after few castings the first chub arrived, nice! After the drill and bringing the chub to the net, the size was around  45 cm, so I rush to catch more. The place was OK only I had to pedal backwards for getting a stable  position against the wind.

I use a Opti Peak 11"  weight 4 rod, so the casting was long enough to don't disturb the place even if the wind took me in a wrong position, but  I handle with ease the waterbike, so, no problem.

I catch a lot of chubs at the same size for over one hour , after that they stoped to attack flies.

So I went home happy and satisfied after a wonderful day.
